I stumbled over this, I'm not sure if DX6i owners are aware, its a bit old and probably shouldn't affect recent purchasers, but every club, DX6i owner/member should confirm that their own kit isn't affected.

Product Recall: Spektrum DX6i transmitters with date codes 807E, 808E, 809E, 810E, 811E, 812E and 901E

Don't be alarmed, the interruptation of these codes, 807E is a transmitter manufactured in Jul 2008, 808E is one manufactured in Aug 2008, E means for the European market including the UK, so this is only likely to effect those who have been flying with Spektrum DX6i's for some years or anybody who has bought secondhand.
